The apparent power S in kilovolt-amps is equal to current I in amps, times the voltage V in volts, divided by 1000:

Example Calculation
Problem: Calculate the apparent power of a single-phase system with 15 amps current and 230 volts.
Given: I = 15 A, V = 230 V
Formula: S = I × V / 1000
S = 15 × 230 / 1000
S = 3450 / 1000
S = 3.45 kVA
Answer: The apparent power is 3.45 kVA
